About Ultimate Omega 3 Plus TRB Health employs stringent quality standards to ensure that all of our fish oil-containing supplements contain premium fish oil concentrates that can be administered safely and reliably with maximum consumer acceptance.
Fresh, non-fishy taste: Many patients expect fish oil supplements to taste and smell fishy and are therefore reluctant to take them. The good news is that TRB Health’s fish oil supplements - both flavored and unflavored - have no fishy smell or aftertaste. Extensive purification of the oil, careful handling to avoid oxidation, and addition of protective antioxidants retains the clean, pure taste. Finished product testing consistently shows very low peroxide and p-anisidine values, key indicators of a fresh, non-rancid product.
Exceptional purity: Starting with small species of wild fish harvested from cold, pristine, deep ocean waters, the oil used in ProThera products undergoes molecular distillation, ultra-filtration, and other purification processes to remove contaminants while maintaining nutritional integrity of the oil. This reduces mercury and other heavy metals, pesticides, PCBs, and dioxins to exceptionally low levels in strict adherence with international standards of purity.
Extra-strength: To help patients get the most out of taking fish oil supplements, each of our marine lipid concentrates delivers potent amounts of omega-3 fatty acids compared to standard fish oil supplements that supply about 30% EPA/DHA. In contrast, TRB Health fish oils provide a minimum concentration of 50% and as much as 70% total EPA/DHA.
Third-party tested: To verify purity and potency of our fish oil, each batch of TRB Health fish oil for softgel and liquid formulations is tested by an accredited, third party laboratory. Extensive analyses using highly sensitive methodologies are employed to ensure that mercury, PCBs, dioxins, peroxides, and other markers of purity and freshness are in full compliance with international guidelines and the recommendations of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN).
Competitively-priced: Milligram-for-milligram of actual EPA/DHA provided per softgel or liquid teaspoon, ProThera fish oil supplements are among the most cost-effective choices when compared against other high-quality brands. Our reasonable prices and assurance of exceptional quality translate into improved patient compliance and reliable delivery of omega-3 fatty acids important benefits.

Citris Bioflavonoids
Citrus bioflavonoids offer protective benefit for blood vessels, capillaries, and other tissues.
Although citrus fruits are best known as excellent sources of vitamin C, they are also exceptional sources of protective antioxidant bioflavonoids that confer numerous health benefits. Citrus peels contain specific flavonoids called flavonones and flavonols and include hesperidin, eriodictyol, tangeretin, nobiletin, naringenin, quercetin, and other compounds. By strengthening blood vessel walls, citrus bioflavonoids can support the blood vessels and lymph system. Maintaining structural integrity of capillaries is especially important for those susceptible to hemorrhoids, chronic venous insufficiency, leg ulcers, easy bruising, and nosebleeds. Other actions appear to include a protective effect against inflammation and a role in cholesterol metabolism. CitriFlavone contains a concentrated mixture of naturally-occurring flavonoid compounds obtained from a wide array of citrus fruits, including orange, lemon, lime, and tangerine. Quercetin, a strong antioxidant that prevents oxidation of low density lipoproteins, and the flavonoid rutin, are added to enhance the activity of this formula.

Antioxidant Plus Supplies concentrated amounts of (1)resveratrol. (see glossary at end of document) Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound with antioxidant activity found in grapes, wine, blueberries, cranberries, and peanuts. While red wine has been popularized as an important source of resveratrol, amounts vary widely. The maximum content of resveratrol in red wine extracts available for use in dietary supplements is 20%. In contrast, root extracts of Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) provide up to 50% trans-resveratrol content, the same form as found in red wine. Resveragen provides 250 mg of trans-resveratrol from Polygonum cuspidatum root.
Resveratrol (trans-resveratrol) is a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants when under attack by pathogens such as bacteria or fungi. Resveratrol has also been produced by chemical synthesis and is sold as a nutritional supplement derived primarily from Japanese knotweed. Phytoalexins are antibiotics produced by plants that are under attack.

Riboflavin Clinical studies have shown similar benefits through different mechanisms for feverfew herb and high amounts of riboflavin (vitamin B2) on processes affecting inflammatory responses, particularly in the brain. The complex mixture of sesquiterpene lactones and other compounds in feverfew favorably influence eiocasanoid metabolism, while riboflavin increases mitochondrial energy efficiency. We include feverfew in both its whole herb and standardized extract forms to retain the full-spectrum of activity. Regular use confers maximum benefit. |
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium; syn. Chrysanthemum parthenium (L.) Pers., Pyrethrum parthenium Sm.) is a traditional medicinal herb which is found in many old gardens, and is also occasionally grown for ornament
Feverfew has been used for reducing fever, for treating headaches, arthritis and digestive problems.
